EXO 2016: Laos & Myanmar Travelife Accredited

We are happy to announce that EXO 2016 Laos and Myanmar were both awarded the coveted Travelife Certification.

The Global Sustainable Tourism Council recognized EXO Myanmar as a Destination Management company.Exo 2016 Laos was awarded the Travelife certificate. EXO Laos was the first DM to be awarded this certification. EXO Cambodia was also the first DM to be certified.

EXO 2016 has achieved the Travelife accreditation. They now have five destinations accredited: Laos Myanmar, Vietnam Cambodia, Cambodia, Thailand. This is the first Asian Destination Management Company that has done so. It also makes them the first to be recognized by the largest certification scheme for tour operators worldwide, the Travelife certification.

This award cements EXO 2016 and EXO Foundation as leaders in corporate social responsibilities within the global tour industry.

EXO’s recent award demonstrates its commitment to sustainable tourism, following the ChildSafe accreditation and nomination by Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), for CSR. EXO Vietnam received the CSR Award of the French Chamber of Commerce, (CCIF); EXO Cambodia was awarded a CCIF Environment Award; and EXO Group was nominated in the category of Sustainable Tourist Leadership for a Virtuoso 2016 Award.
